As Malaysia battles the worst flooding in decades, UNHRD Partners including ASEAN, Shelterbox, JICA,
UNICEF and Qatar Charity have sent critical relief items and equipment to the hardest-hit area, Kelantan. The U.S. Office for Foreign Disaster Assistance (OFDA) has also provided tarpaulins and the airfreight of tents from UNHRD Dubai to UNHRD Kuala Lumpur. Following the request from the Government of Malaysia, UNHRD coordinated the rapid mobilization of emergency supplies from the depots in Kuala Lumpur and Dubai.
